Despite winning the Nobel Peace Prize, King was jailed multiple times. He was criticized even by people who claimed to support equality but preferred “peace” over change. Yet he never backed down. “If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl,” he said, “but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”
